Personal bio
Zhijian Qiao (George) received his B.A. in Chinese Literature from Fudan University in 2005, and M.A. in East Asian Studies and M.A. in History from Stanford. He is currently Ph.D. candidate in the History Department. His research focuses on merchants, business, and society in early modern China, and explores the historical roots of China's on-going economic miracles. In addition to enthusiasm for history, George has a broad interest in humanities. |
