Dr. Christine Jojarth is an international expert on energy and development. She joined Stanford University in 2005 after earning her Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. At Stanford, she works as a Lecturer in the International Policy Studies Program. She also serves as a member of the Technical Advisory Group of the Natural Resource Charter, an international initiative that promotes best practices on how to transform hydrocarbon and mineral assets into sustainable development. She advises governments and non-governmental organizations. Her publications are widely cited in opinion shaping publications. Her datasets and models have been used by leading financial institutions, including the International Monetary Fund, the Federal Reserve, and the industry. She is also a reviewer for top publishers and industry journals, including Cambridge University Press, Energy Policy, and Energy Economics.
