Personal bio
Suzanne Pfeffer obtained her A.B. in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley in 1978, and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from UCSF in 1983. She carried out postdoctoral research at UCSF and Stanford before joining the Stanford faculty in 1986. Pfeffer studies the molecular basis of Parkinson's disease and plays tennis and bicycles to stay fit. Currently teaching
