Personal bio
Lance Dixon received his Bachelors degree in Physics and in Applied Mathematics from Caltech in 1982 and his Ph.D. from Princeton in 1986. After a postdoc at SLAC, and an Assistant Professorship at Princeton, Lance became a Panofsky Fellow at SLAC, before his appointment as a SLAC faculty member in 1992. He spent the 2010-2011 academic year on sabbatical at CERN, as the LHC began full operations. Currently teaching
