Personal bio
Kiran Khush received her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University in 1995, and her MD degree from Harvard University in 2000. She completed her internal medicine, cardiology, and advanced heart failure/heart transplant training at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). She was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF (2007-2008) before joining the Stanford faculty. Dr. Khushâ??s clinical work focuses on the care of heart transplant recipients. Her clinical work focuses on the management and selection of heart transplant donors, non-invasive diagnosis of acute rejection, and prevention of chronic rejection after heart transplantation.
