Personal bio
Ali Kiaei received B.Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, all in electrical engineering. Since 2011, he has been with Texas Instruments, Santa Clara, CA, as an IC design manager. From 2004 to 2011, he was with National Semiconductor Corporation where he worked on wireless and wireline communication circuits and systems. From 2000 to 2002, he was a member of technical staff at Tavanza, Inc., a Silicon Valley based startup company designing RF power amplifiers for cellular communications. In 2000, he was with Barcelona Design, Inc., a startup company developing analog design automation engines. He was a Lecturer at Stanford University in 2012. As a graduate student at Stanford, Ali Kiaei was a research assistant at Stanford Microwave Integrated Circuits Laboratory. Ali Kiaei was awarded the prestigious Stanford Graduate Fellowship in 1999. He also won the Bronze Medal in the 25th International Physics Olympiad, in Beijing, China. |
