Personal bio
Khonika Gope is a PhD student at the Stanford Technology Ventures Program in the department of management science & engineering. Broadly, her research interests focus on strategy and entrepreneurship. Particularly, she is interested in exploring the impact of institutions on entrepreneurship and innovation. Khonika received her BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. She received her MBA from Goizueta Business School, Emory University, as a Fulbright Scholar. Prior to joining Stanford, she worked at as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the University of Dhaka’s Institute of Business Administration, the leading business school in her home country, Bangladesh. Khonika has received numerous prestigious awards and scholarships, such as Fulbright Scholarship, Lieberman Fellowship, Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (SEED) Ph.D. I-Award, Stanford Center for South Asia (CSA) Fellowship, Mckenzie Fellowship, and Heitz Fellowship among others.
