Personal bio
Dayo Nicole Mitchell is an Associate Director in Stanford Introductory Studies. Before coming to Stanford in 2011, she taught history for several years in the honors college at the University of Oregon. She specializes in the British Empire and the Atlantic World, examining questions of race and politics in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. She received her Ph.D. in history from the University of Virginia. |
