Cheryl Gore-Felton received her Bachelors degree in psychology from UCLA in 1986, her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology in 1989 from Boston University, and her Ph.D. in Counseling and Health Psychology from Stanford University in 1997. She was a professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin before joining the Stanford faculty in 2005. She is board certified in Wisconsin and California, providing psychotherapy to individuals and families in the Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford. Her research focuses on the development of interventions to reduce trauma symptoms and enhance health behaviors in domestic and international populations.
