Personal bio
Asya Pereltsvaig received a PhD in Linguistics from McGill University in 2002. Before coming to Stanford, she has taught at Yale, Cornell and several European universities. Her area of specialization is Slavic and Semitic languages. She is the author of three books: "Languages of the World: An Introduction" and "The Indo-European Controversy", published by Cambridge University Press, and "Copular sentences in Russian", published by Springer. |
