Dr. Torres is a nationally recognized Neurotrauma and Neurocritical Care Expert and very engaged with the ACS College on Trauma as well as the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Neurotrauma Critical Care often invited to moderate scientific symposia.
Dr. Torres is co-investigator in the N.I.H multicenter Neurological Emergencies Treatment Trials network at Stanford.He is working closely with industry and currently developing several innovative brain monitoring technologies. In addition, he enjoys motorcycles, auto racing and flying in his spare time.
