Lewis Shin received his Bachelors degree in Neuroscience from Brown University in 1996 and his M.D. from Brown University Medical School in 2000. Lewis completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency program in 2005 at Winthrop University Hospital and graduated a NCI - radiology fellowship in Advanced Techniques for Cancer Imaging and Detection in 2007. Lewis joined the Stanford faculty in 2008 where his current interests are real-time MRI in Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and small bowel imaging (e.g. Crohn Diseaes and dysmotility disorders). Lewis enjoys ice-hockey and golf.
